Counting Down the Days (OK, Hours) 'Til The Shoe

I haven't blogged in a while because I haven't done anything poker related in weeks.  About a week ago, I even thought about selling my poker table and Super Diamond chip set that I use for tournament home games, but I decided against it since I still do get the itch to play (and host a game) from time to time.  That said, I rarely visit the CPMG message board anymore and if I do it's just to check in on casino related posts.  Yes, the Horseshoe Casino Cleveland is opening in a mere 3 days and 11 some odd hours!  Words cannot express how excited I am for the casino to open.  Not just for the poker room, but for everything... the atmosphere, the buffet, food court, etc.  I suppose my itch to play poker is returning as the grand opening of the Horseshoe rapidly approaches.  Since I work downtown only a few blocks from the casino and drive past it every morning on the bus ride into work, I've witnessed the progression they've made from the outside - the parking structure, entrances, the signs and flags bearing the Horseshoe name and logo.  I must say, it's really looking good.  Now that pictures have been released from inside the casino, I can't wait to look around and tour the place entirely.  My first stop?  Probably the poker room.  My hope is that they do things right in the poker room and that everything runs smoothly.  Not sure if that's wishful thinking, but I guess we will find out soon.  Since I will likely wait a while before I actually sit down and play poker at the casino, I will be relying heavily on the opinions of others in the CPMG, who will no doubt be checking things out for themselves as soon as they possibly can.  Until then, I guess I'll have to scrounge up some pocket change and sit in a cash game or two to re-familiarize myself with the game of poker.

Anyone down for some 1/2?  And by 1/2... I mean 1-cent/2-cent.

Anyone?

Hello?
